Spent my afternoon with sera today (:
Starbucks and burger king!
It's the FIRST time sera is actually drinking starbucks coffee! ( you are missing out a lot in life, my friend! )
Talked from like, 12.45 all the way till 4.20.
I needed to go home and so did she.
After that was rehearsals, it was quite okay. (:
Some adjustments here and there.
when someone throws a cheem english word at you, all you need to reply is " li gong si mi? "
when someone throws a vulgar-sounding hokkien word to you, all you need to reply is " dude, i know you love me too. "
when someone throws a cheem 4 chinese words, cheng yu, at you, all you need to reply is " i'm ang mo pai. "

Me and my cousins composed this song for my great-grandmother.
Long long ago,
she came from a country called China.
Brave the seas,
and came to this small island
Married a rich man
became the second wife
and came 3 kids
so that became her story
As you lay here,
We pay our tribute
We know that you're, in a better place today
Safe in the arms of God
Dearly missed and cherished
You'll be in our hearts forever
She led a long life
Outlived all her children
Yet she still stay strong
And live her life to the fullest
As she looked at 14 of them
They are all her great-grandchildren
She smiled and thought:

Another tiring day as singapore casket.
Woke up early in the morning, went to work with za.
The japanese uncle is a nice guy (:
And he gave me extra orchids that were not needed.
So these orchids will be used for today's burial.
Yesterday's service, which was a few hours ago, was quite emotional.
We sang our song to everyone there, aunt bee eng and bee lian gave their eulogy.
Everyone will miss tai-ma, especially the grandchildrens.
Pastor Sabin gave a short sharing and then he prayed for tai-ma.
Tai-ma has already took Jesus' right hand and went to the mansion that God has built for everyone of us.
When Aunt Bee Lian gave her eulogy, she talked about Tai-ma.
Why did she take such a long time to go?
First reason : Check-in time is not right
Second reason : She is still queueing up to go in
Third reason : She lost her way because there is no one to hold her hand and guide her.
And now, Jesus is guiding her since she has took his right hand.
I still remember the time when she came over to my house.
She was angry because she wasn't allowed to walk, so she sat on the floor and refuse to move.
My great-grandmother is so cute. (:
She is the strongest great-grandmother i've ever had.
I'm sad the she is leaving, but happy that she is in a better place.
I'm tired!

one word to describe the wake today : Tiring.
